Need to replace your O2 sensor?

Happy Tuesday !
Have you recently failed an emissions test or have been noticing engine performance issues? The issue could be a bad oxygen (O2) sensor. Thankfully, these parts are cheap and easy to replace, depending on your vehicle. What do you do if your O2 sensor gets stuck when you're trying to replace it?
Here are three things you can do to break that old O2 sensor free:
1️⃣ Use penetrating oil and a socket wrench
2️⃣ Warm the engine up
3️⃣ Use a propane torch
Do you need to test your O2 sensor or determine if your catalytic converter is the issue?
Use a YOUCANIC scanner to read and clear fault codes, and record live data! Don't know how? Watch this video here, or follow the steps below!
1️⃣ Plug your VCI adapter into the OBD-II port, and make sure your scanner is connected.
2️⃣ Select Diagnostic ➡️ select your vehicle model ➡️ Smart VIN.
3️⃣Select control modules ➡️ Drive ➡️ Engine control (it is usually the option on the top) ➡️ Live data ➡️ O2 sensor
4️⃣ Analyze the live data to make sure your oxygen sensors are working properly.
We'll be back, ! Share your repair story to encourage other car owners to take on repairs of their own! Whether you've just replaced your oxygen sensors or your Electronic Control Unit (ECU), we want to read about it! All you have to do is take some pictures, write a few paragraphs, and we'll take care of the rest!
Best regards,
