This Week’s Big Fix: 2020 Peugeot Boxer
After Mark Smith's 2020 Peugeot Boxer went into limp mode, he decided to take matters into his own hands! Armed with a YOUCANIC scanner, he found the code P2112 "Throttle actuator stuck closed." Armed with the right tools and knowledge, Smith rolled up his sleeves and got to work!
The Fix: After running an Air Mixer Actuator test and inspecting live data using his YOUCANIC scanner, he was able to figure out that his throttle body actuator had failed. After replacing the part and recalibrating it using his scanner, his engine was running as good as new! Keep reading here!
Warning Light of the Week
Pedestrian Warning Indicator - These specific pedestrian warning lights can be found on newer Mini Cooper models. The top warning light indicates that there is someone in your driving lane, while the other two indicate that a collision is imminent.
🧐Fun Fact: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) finalized a rule in April of last year (2024) mandating that all vehicle manufacturers must integrate automatic emergency braking features in all cars and light truck models by 2029, with the hopes that it will make the road safer for everyone.
