Hi ,
This Week’s Exciting Fix: 2019 Ford Ranger
This 2019 Ford Ranger was experiencing some odd electrical problems. The turn signals didn't work, the airbag light was on, and the windshield wipers only worked at top speed! To make things even stranger, this truck was booby trapped! Before all of the electrical problems could be addressed, mechanic Jordan Hill had to disarm the traps.
The Fix: The unwanted guests in this fiery-red Ford had chewed through some very important CAN wires! Once the wires were repaired, the warning lights went away, and everything was working normally again. Keep reading here!
Warning Light of the Week
Rear Automatic Braking (RAB) System Off - This warning light can be found in newer cars made by Nissan. It either indicates the RAB has been turned off or is faulty. When a vehicle with this feature is driving backwards at low speeds, like when parking or backing out of a driveway, sensors in the back of the vehicle can sense when objects are in the way, and will brake automatically if there is a risk of a collision.
