Happy Tuesday !
Have you noticed the buttons on your steering wheel haven't been responding the way they used to? Is your check airbag light on all the time? The problem could be a faulty clockspring.
The clockspring is found in your vehicle's steering column and helps keep your airbag, steering wheel buttons, and horns connected to the rest of your car when turning. Over time, the wiring inside your clockspring becomes brittle and can break, leading to performance issues.
Symptoms of a faulty clockspring:
⚠️ The airbag light is always on
⚠️ The horn doesn't work
⚠️ Your steering wheel buttons are not responding
⚠️ There is a rubbing noise coming from the steering wheel
