Sleep: An Overlooked Ingredient for Well-Being
Getting a great night of sleep is easier for some of us than others. You can improve your chances of getting a good night of sleep by increasing your sleep drive and avoiding things that hinder sleep. The good news is that nearly everyone can get a good night of sleep. >>READ MORE
Resilience Rounds
TODAY! Tuesday, September 14 @ 6:30-7:30pm CT
We're excited to launch Resilience Rounds — a live discussion forum (using Google Meet) for our members. This is a great opportunity to talk with like-minded peers about key concepts from a book, podcast, or article regarding self-care, personal development, goal setting, or healthy relationships. Each session is facilitated by Seena & Stuart. On September 14th, we'll be talking about WOOP (Wish, Outcome, Obstacles, Plan) and the book by Gabriele Oettingen Rethinking Positive Thinking: Inside the New Science of Motivation. You don't need to read the book to join the discussion. Join us!

- Grace, Pharmacy Educator
Practicing meditation during class was great. I enjoyed being able to go through it together and have incorporated it into my routine.

Food for Thought
What the Eyes Don't See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City by Mona Hanna-Attisha was the Common Reading Experience at the University of Mississippi in the Fall of 2020. It's a great read - mystery, science, and social justice books all rolled up together. I love this quote because it speaks to the core values. There is a reason we admire and respect pediatricians.
