You’ve heard the parable of the talents before.

But most people read it as a lesson on laziness.

It’s deeper than that.

The servant wasn’t just lazy.

He was afraid.

And instead of confronting that fear…

he hid it behind what sounded like reverence.

He preserved what he was given.

He didn’t lose it.

He didn’t misuse it.

He just refused to engage it.

And that was called wicked.

Not because he destroyed it…

but because he buried it.

There is a mindset that looks like wisdom on the outside…

“Let me wait”

“Let me be careful”

“Let me make sure it’s right”

But underneath it is fear.

And in the Kingdom… fear disguised as stewardship is still disobedience.

You’re not called to protect what you’ve been given.

You’re called to multiply it.

And the question is…

Have you been stewarding…

or have you been hiding?
