OVERCOME THE SPIRIT OF FEAR

Today’s word:

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind., II Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

We cannot please God without faith.

But the spirit of fear in the children of God prevents them from exercising their faith, and hence it is a major hurdle to live a God-pleasing life.

* Are you battling this spirit of fear?

* You cannot give a lame excuse for this affliction because God has already given the remedy through His spirit of love and a sound mind.

* Perfect love casts out fear. If this spirit of fear still afflicts you, it shows you are yet to experience the perfect love of Christ, says the Bible.

* Truth brings understanding, and it increases the faith to eradicate fear.

* Feed yourself more with His word and its understanding.

* God has given you the authority over the enemy, and you must rebuke and cast away this spirit of fear in the name of Jesus.

* You are called to be more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ. There is no other choice.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please fill me more with your spirit of love and a sound mind to overcome the spirit of fear. Amen.
