The newsletter where capital, memory, & responsibility meet the resistance & liberation work of WWC

Few things have felt more sacred and rewarding than witnessing the material change and impact of Womanist Working Collective's O ni Owo Solidarity Transfer...
“I was able to cover my October (household) expenses and direct business income towards offering two community homeschooling workshops with supporting resources.”
“I was able to buy formula for my niece that I care for”
“I was able to purchase art supplies including framing materials for a weaving that will be on display at a gallery...Art for me is more than a career, it's my personal practice of care and connection to myself, ancestors and community. With the supplies, I've been able to complete two paintings and some sketches for weavings to come.”
Through the generous investment of our fiscal sponsor, Wildseed Society, we were able to blossom this guaranteed income program. We are now halfway through the 1st cycle of participants and can't wait to share full year findings.

The steady stream of collective liberation where healing moves in care & reciprocity, and every shared wave builds the world we need.
Rarely are Black women, femmes and gender expansive organizers like us or the work of community organizing, holistic wellness and mutual aid that we do afforded stability. The waters of change aren't always predictable. As we continue, we invite you into braving these waters with us - help us make the navigation more manageable and the community more stable.
