Quick heads up. The newsletter is getting a full reboot and a fresh name, called The Monthly Escape.

I’m pumped you’re here. My goal is to keep things really useful and maybe even a little fun.

If you’re new around here, here’s the short version. I spent years in law enforcement, then swapped my badge for a camp stove and turned my 2013 RAV4 into a fully loaded escape pod. That change taught me something big. You don’t need a bunch of time or fancy gear to feel free. You just need a nudge and the right mindset.

Starting October 8, you’ll get The Monthly Escape every second Wednesday (I hope to stick with this schedule). It will land in your inbox around 0700 if you’re up that early.
