Commitment is necessary

Alberto here.
I've been playing with creator coins these days (go to Rally.io to see what I mean). They are an exciting application of the blockchain for creators.
I want to be an early adopter, to understand them and maybe make some money in the process. So I started buying. I got almost 5X return in a month. 🤩
It got interesting, so I started looking into other creator coins. And you know what? I didn't buy. Anything.
It's like investing in stocks. You have to do your homework. You have to know the creators you are going to invest in. I know the first creator I supported extremely well. But the other ones are totally new.
But I have several other projects going on. I don't have the time to get to know those creators and the strategies they're adopting about their coins.
This experience reminded me an evergreen lesson: to know if something can work and get good returns, you have to devote yourself to it (almost) completely. At least for a limited amount of time.
Curious whether you can make money writing? Publish something every day on Medium for months.
Curious whether a friend could be a good cofounder? Work with her on a project.
Curious whether you can run a marathon? Train like a pro runner for a year.
This kind of involvement guarantees enough practice, exposes you to many lessons, shapes your mindset.
With a smaller commitment, you'll keep wondering "what would have happened if I just tried a little harder?"

Belief in yourself is not a prerequisite for results. It's a consequence.
Find out how you can make small progress and take action. Each new result will build your self confidence.
If you're first at the finish line, everything is great. Number 2 is hell, though.
You're tormented: "if I just pushed a little harder..."
But if you get the bronze medal, you came so close to winning nothing... You are grateful.
