Social Media to the Glory of Christ

When you think of social media, do you think of evangelism or Gospel ministry? Probably not. Often, it's a platform for arguing about politics, keeping up with the latest fashion trends, or things of even lesser value. However, we know that God often uses the unexpected for His glory.

I am writing to you today to share some exciting news about our social media reach. As you may know, our ministry has been using social media for evangelism and Gospel ministry for some time now. Recently, we have seen a surge in activity on our social media platforms. We don’t know what's behind the surge, but we praise God for the opportunity to use social media to reach the lost and to encourage Christians in their walk with Christ.

Here's a summary of our social media reach so far this year:

We don't know how long this surge will last, or if it will increase even more. But we praise God for it! We are thankful for your continued prayers and support of our team's ministry. Please continue to pray that the Lord will use these resources, and social media, to grow His Church in Cambodia for His glory.

• Praise​ that we are reprinting the Jesus Storybook Bible in Khmer again! This will bring the total copies to 15,000
• Pray that the articles and videos on Plovpit.com would be used by God to draw people to Himself
• Pray that our family would see improved health and that we will have wisdom as we work with neurologists on a new care plan for Paton
• Pray as our team finishes up editing “The Family Life of a Christian Leader” by Ajith Fernando
• Pray as we seek to begin to expand our translation team as God provides additional funding so that we can expand our work to include translating Bible commentaries

Cambodia Christian Books 2023 Fundraiser

It is our hope and prayer to raise funds for these book projects below to strengthen the church and glorify Christ. If we can't raise enough for all 6000 books, we will still print what we can.

We need your support for 3 translation projects:

1. New City Catechism Curriculum

This curriculum and activities will teach kids the doctrines of Christianity with Sunday School Teacher Programs throughout the provinces.

The goal is $6900 for translation plus printing 2000 books.

2. Pastors Beware

This is a needed book in Cambodia to warn and exhort Christian pastors concerning leadership and some of the pitfalls of ministry.

The goal is $2300 to print 2000 books.

3. Can Christians Drink Alcohol?

This book deals with the challenges and abuses of alcohol in the context of Cambodia, offering a biblical explanation of how Christians should engage.

The goal is $2300 to print 2000 books.
