From my world to yours, here's your February newsletter + journal prompts!

Feb 04, 2022 2:56 am

If you are new to my newsletter, a warm welcome to you! You are receiving this newsletter because you most likely recently signed up to my gift, Find Your Purpose Journal. I hope you stay and enjoy my newsletters, gifts and promotions. However, I understand if you do not want to hear from me, and if that’s the case simply hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom of this email. Nevertheless, I am so glad that you decided to join me in my journey to finding life’s purpose and self-discovery.

Before the day is over (or it may have been over where you’re at) I just want to check in and see how you are doing. How was the first month of the year for you? Mine happened so fast, and it was interesting, exhausting and amazing all at the same time.

I delivered my third child via C-section on January 5th! I’m not happy with the whole C-section to be honest, but I’m grateful that my son Shanwnje came out ok with no complications. Most importantly, he got to go home with us and didn’t have to stay in the NICU even though he was only 35 weeks old.

I guess I expected a little too much of my labor and delivery, not realizing all pregnancies are different. But since I delivered natural on my first two kiddos, I thought he would be an easy 15-min push. At some point during recovery, I did feel like I failed my body. It’s hard also trying to recover from a major surgery. C-section is not a joke and I commend every mom that had went through a C-section.

Here’s my baby almost 1 month old 😄😊

And my two-month-old niece Sky (we also officially became foster parents two weeks before I delivered)

So yeah, it’s been a busy household but worth at the end of the day. What about you? What have you been up to lately? How do you deal with a difficult situation or experience? I would love to know your thoughts.

---JOURNAL PROMPTS TO WELCOME FEBRUARY-

Here are your monthly journal prompts as promised.

1.     What makes you smile?

2.     What keeps you up at night?

3.     What do you think about when you’re alone?

4.     What brings you joy?

5.     What makes you sad?

6.     What do you wish you had said to someone before they passed?

7.     What do you want to say to someone in your past?

8.     Where would you like to be 5, 10, 15 years from now?

9.     What reps can you improve today to improve your current circumstances?

10.  What is holding you back from takin those steps?

11.  Pick one person you want to invest in this month. What would it practically look like to prioritize that relationship?

12.  What impact had the positive words of a loved had on you?

13.  Recall a memorable first date. Write a letter to the person you dated ad tell them what you were really thinking.

14.  What id a special memory you share with you mom, dad, or a mother or father figure in your life?

I recommend do one or a couple in every few days, or every day. If you’re feeling inspirational you can do all 15 in one sitting! I understand life can be busy so whenever you can, just write. If you’re not feeling the prompts, it’s ok just do a brain dump! Brain dump is super therapeutic. I do it a lot now especially before I start deep work writing to help clear clutter out of my mind!

That’s it for now. And as always, I’m grateful for allowing me space in your inbox. In two weeks, I will have a special Valentines gift for you. So, hope you watch out for my mail!

Have a good night 😊

XOXO,

Wella
