We are back after getting seriously sick, well... not too serious, but the story is worth it!
We went on a long weekend just to relax before Winter.
We all 4 got sick after the first night with weird symptoms: swollen red eyes, fever, headache, little appetite, and exhaustion.
Very concerning, so we went to the emergency room where they had NO IDEA of what was going on, cat scan, MRI, maybe the flu, maybe MS but all 4 at the exact same time?
It's only 2 weeks later that one doctor came with a simple question: "Do you have cats? Have you been exposed to cats?"
No, we do not have pets, but we went to say goodbye to my Mom who has 2 cats...
ET VOILA!!! we got CSD or Cat Scratch Disease or Cat Flea Fever or something like it. It's easily cured with Advil. You can check out the disease here.
Was it enough for my now very upset and tired family? Nope...
Before checking in at the ER we tested negative to COVID... Checking out, we ALL 4 tested positive to the virus... stuck in quarantine for another 5 days.
Happy to be back home and happy to know that we have no serious illness, low cholesterol, low blood glucose, low... Well, it seems that our low-carb diet is working lol.
