quick tips to stop double faults 🎾

Hi ,
I’m a bit tired today, but I really wanted to send you something useful.
Double faults can drive us crazy, right? Here are a few quick thoughts:
- You are only as good as your second serve. Practice your spin serves (slice, topspin) more often.
- When you warm up before a match, which serve do you hit more: first or second?
I always hit the serves at a low pace in the warmup, trying to get the toss right, feel the ball, and loosen up my arm. I never show the opponents my full-speed serve until the first game starts.
- When practicing your serve, you’ve got to train both: first serve with power and placement, second serve with the same racquet speed, just more spin and consistency.
- Try this: play a few games where you only get one serve. It forces you to trust your second serve more.
That’s it for today - short, simple, and hopefully helpful.
Let me know if you have any questions for me.
All the best,
