Here is a recap of our message from this weekend...
Christmas is Coming: Silent Night
In part 3 of the series "Christmas is Coming," Pastor Jared tackles the challenge of grief during the holidays. From the pain of loss to the hope of God’s promises, the message highlights that God doesn’t leave us in silence. He meets us in our grief, offers us His presence, and reminds us of a future where sorrow is replaced with joy. Through recognizing pain, remembering God’s promises, and resting in His presence, we find healing even in the most silent nights.
We've open up the final spots in our registration. Don't delay and grab your spot now to Christmas at One City NEXT SUNDAY before we're all filled up! The final spots have been released and are available to reserve now!

3 THINGS TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT LONELINESS
- Recognize the Pain - Acknowledging pain is the first step to healing. Suppressing grief doesn’t bring peace. Grieving is a natural response to love, and God invites us to bring our pain to Him. Psalm 56:8 assures us that God values every tear and sees every sorrow.
- Remember God's Promises - God’s promises bring light into our darkest moments. Jeremiah 31:13 speaks of mourning turned to joy, and Revelation 21:4 reminds us that grief is temporary. Even in the silence, God’s presence provides comfort and hope.
- Rest in His Presence - God’s presence doesn’t always change our circumstances, but it transforms us. Through prayer, community, and leaning into God’s Word, we can find peace. Matthew 11:28 invites us to rest in Him, even in our deepest grief.
From Sermon to Action
This week, take time to acknowledge any grief or loss you are experiencing. Create a space to remember and honor those you've lost, perhaps by lighting a candle or writing a letter. Lean on God's promises by spending time in His Word, and reach out to your church community for support.
