Typically, you’ll see graphic-style websites in tech and startups. Here is an excellent example. This template has clean look with a hint of 3d graphics, which has been rather trendy in the last couple of years.

It’s more likely to see the illustration style in education, children's products, some small businesses, and service-based companies.
Photography
A great execution for photography e-commerce combination with a clean and modern take. This would be a great approach for anyone trying to sell products.
This next one is nice combination of Clean, Minimalist, and Modern with a twist of Typography, Photography as an accent.
