... Witchful thinking. 😊

Hello from Wales
I hope you are all having a great summer.
It's almost over for us with Jennifer going back to school on the 3rd September. It will be her final year of Secondary School here in the UK, with lots of exams. She had some of her GCSE results yesterday (Mostly A's - only 1 B - in Chemistry, but her favourite subjects are History and English, so she's not too bothered).
We have had SKy's lymphoma type confirmed, and we had some good news (ish). It is a slow progressing T-cell lymphoma, which gives her a prognosis of about 2 years. So this beautiful, derpy angel will be with us for a little longer. They don't want to start chemo yet, which gives us some time to build funds. In the meantime, she will need tests every 3 months to monitor the lymphoma's progress, which will cost around £400 for each test, but is a lot more doable than the thousands to come later.
I've been working hard and will start updating chapters for my new serial in the coming week over on Patreon (the first two are up). I have also been researching using AI for audiobooks and found SPOKEN. There are lots of audiobooks from other authors on there for you to check out - I would love your thoughts if you do.
I have also edited my fourth Melody Scott Snapshot mystery, Murder on the Ski Slope, and put it back up for sale. You can grab it on Amazon, iBooks, Nook etc for only 99c, but it's also available to Patreon supporters.
As always, I have a few book fairs and books to share with you this month, so please check them out.
Happy Reading
Victoria xx

A haunted inn. A psychic gift. A ghost that refuses to rest in peace.
Fresh off a divorce and deep in perimenopause, cookie expert Amelia Matthews inherits a crumbling Florida inn — and a ghost problem. Her late aunt leaves behind one last request: use your psychic gift to solve a decades-old murder.
Trouble is, Amelia didn’t even know she had a gift, let alone how to use it.
Armed with a snarky cat named Freddie Purrcury, a cast of magically inclined locals, and a far-too-charming professor of paranormal studies, Amelia dives into a mystery full of hauntings, hot flashes, and hilarious hijinks.
If the truth stays buried, so might Amelia’s shot at a new beginning.
EAT, PRAY, HEX is a laugh-out-loud cozy paranormal mystery brimming with midlife magic, found family, and second chances.

Meet Robin Wildwood, the black sheep (or red squirrel) of her family's coven.
As the self-proclaimed screw-up in a family of overachieving witches, Robin spends her time hanging out with her sassy squirrel familiar Tansy and avoiding her eccentric relatives.
Until her grandmother, the region's celebrated Head Witch, unexpectedly drops dead.
Forced back to the small English town of Wildwood Heath for the funeral, Robin finds herself surrounded by bickering relatives and rival covens wanting to claim her grandmother's legacy. Worse, when Robin stumbles upon the dead body of the Head Witch's assistant, she's the only person who suspects that Grandma's death was no accident either.
Robin must immerse herself back in the life of a coven witch and team up with her former crush (turned hot sports captain) to get to the bottom of the mystery. But will she survive long enough to see the coven's leadership change hands... and who will be the next Head Witch?
This fun paranormal mystery from author Elle Adams contains a quick-witted heroine and her sassy squirrel sidekick, an English village ruled by squabbling witch covens, and a hair-raising magical adventure.

A chance to escape. A haunting surprise. Dragged into a homicide by the spooky victim, can a reluctant sleuth solve the case and set up a fresh start?
Clara Kelly only wants to be free. Fleeing her abusive husband and holing up in his empty historic Salem, Massachusetts house, she’s shocked to find it already occupied by the ghosts of a sad-eyed Union soldier and cat. And just as the thirty-two-year-old fugitive accepts that the supernatural is real, a deadly car accident out front brings the phantom of the recently deceased to her door claiming he’s been murdered.
Afraid every moment she lingers will bring more trouble, she tries to ignore his pleas. But after the desperate spirit agrees to aid a puppy in peril in exchange for her help, Clara relents to playing sleuth while looking over her shoulder for the slime who made her marriage a living hell.
Can she find purpose in parting the veil of possibilities?
