Why do trees make the worst frenemies?

Because they are the best at throwing shade!😊

Hello from Wales

Spring is here with the promise of renewal! We finished painting the bathroom. It's now a lovely shade of green, called Forest Stroll. The daffodils are out in full, and the new school term started yesterday. Jennifer is not pleased as the last two terms have been really short at only five or so weeks - the next two and longer at seven weeks. I keep telling her that at least she has the summer break afterwards, but it's doing little to improve her mood. I honestly know how she feels :)

imageThis week, I am thrilled to share my own fresh beginning with you. As you know, I have been working on my Rune Witch series, turning the novellas into full-length novels with exciting new scenes, taking you deeper into the realms of mystery and enchantment, as well as Summer and Thomas's relationship.

The first book, Whispers of Magic, is available for pre-order now on Amazon with a release date of 29th April (will be in Kindle Unlimited). Join Summer and Thomas as they unravel a chilling mystery in a world 'where magic fuels the fight and love forges the armour' :)

Thank you for your support and for being a part of my writing journey.

Happy Reading.

imageWhat do you do when you find a human bone?

Try to locate the rest of the body, of course.

But Nikko Sanna didn't find the remains. The stray he took in dragged it back to his kennel. Too bad he can't ask the dog where he dug up the clue to a 20-year-old cold case.

Or can he?

Enter Inara Woodward—veterinarian, pet psychic and a member of the town's founding family. Nik might be able to ignore the fact she's a Woodweird...if her animal whisperer gifts can help him. Uncovering the truth may be the only thing that will stop the rumors about his family's involvement in the case. What he can't ignore is how badly he wants the leggy blonde vet in his bed.

Unfortunately, someone doesn't want them digging up trouble. A stalker, a ghost, Woodward Hill's nosy reporter...they'll use the dark secrets hidden in Nik's past to bring the couple down.

Even if it means burying them six feet under.

.Who knew one’s life was so full of secrets—a husband’s lies, a family history of witchcraft, a hidden coven, and supernatural beings, wreaking havoc in the town.

Middle-aged Gwynedd Crowther is taking her first graduate class after thirty years in the small college town of Bearsden, Delaware while working a monotonous, part-time insurance job. Recovering from her husband’s death, she’s sleep-deprived and dealing with menopause. She feels lucky to get out of bed in the morning and put on matching shoes.

She meets Scottish professor Dr. Archibald Cockburn and her already jumpy demeanor is tested to the max. He’s younger, easy on the eyes, and amiable. Soon after, she begins to experience unusual phenomena and the weirdest hot flashes ever.

Her best friend convinces her to join the local pagan group of community members and Zillennial graduate students to expand her social circle. When the murder of a local homeless man occurs, her strange experiences go into overdrive, making her question her reality.

Are these experiences real? What is this pagan group hiding? Is the murderer a serial killer? Or something more sinister and supernatural?

imageJust a fun girls’ weekend in New Orleans during Mardi Gras...except for the murders.

Chantilly Romero held an important place as a mover and a shaker within the New Orleans business world. An upstanding member of the community, everyone admired and respected her.

But she had her secrets. Did she run an illegal high-stakes poker game out of her whiskey distillery? Had her bodyguard committed a few dastardly deeds, so Chantilly could profit? Did Chantilly’s husband die by his own hand, or did she help him along to the pearly gates?

Regardless, the police never found proof of any wrong doing. Did someone take matters into their own hands?

imageShe's a witch sworn off magic, but when peanuts poison the bad-tempered bridegroom, can she summon a solution before the killer gets away with murder?

Skylar Blackwood hasn't used magic since the love spell she cast on her high school sweetheart backfired and ruined her marriage. Now she’s a wedding celebrant in the sleepy seaside town of Tidewater, where the only magic is the fake kind performed by her friend and fellow outcast, Herb.

But Skylar’s peaceful life is turned upside down when the grumpy groom drops dead at the altar and Herb is arrested as prime suspect. Worse still, Skylar’s ex-husband (who she might still be a teeny bit in love with) shows up as the lead detective on the case.

Skylar is going to need more than a touch of magic to find the murderer and get Herb out of prison, while keeping her witch identity a secret, and beating her doubting ex in solving the case.

Together with Wolfie, her disgruntled grey wolf familiar, Skylar races to reveal who really killed groomzilla, as the body count continues to rise.

If you like a twisty magical mystery to mull, second chance romance, quirky characters and snappy dialogue with more snark than you can boil a brew at, join the fun in Marriage Spells Murder.
