I'm an idiot!

Hello from Wales

Hi,

So, I decided August would be a great time to start sharing my daily wordcount. If any of you have seen my posts on Facebook that has not been going well so far. On the 1st, I managed 769 words, and on the 2nd, 1248. Then, the rest of the week, nothing. In my defence, we went away to Pembroke and spent the time camping, so can't complain.

However, that's not the reason I'm an idiot. Yesterday, I was recapping on the events of Eira Snow book 4 and noticed way too many typos that needed to be sorted out. However, it soon became apparent that I have lost my master document - no idea how. Anyway, copying my kindle version, I am having to retype a new document with the complete book to give me an editable master copy again. What fun!

On the plus side, I'm looking forward to going paddle boarding tomorrow, and all this time at the beach has given me an idea for another cozy mystery series. Rest Bay Cozy Mysteries. I'm thinking an author, who was jilted at the altar, has finally fulfilled her lifelong dream of moving to the seaside, but when the time comes for her to take possession of her new home, she finds the estate agent dead in the property and becomes the number one suspect. As soon as I finish the last Eira Snow, I'm going to work on both the Rest Bay Cozy Mysteries and the Paranormal Hotel series at the same time.

What I'd love to know is, do you enjoy cozies without magic as much as you do those with, as I think Rest Bay might be fun to try without?
