Even though you've been on our list for months, I feel like we've never been properly introduced. My name is Nick, and I'm the founder of the Arcverse. I'm thrilled to have you as a part of our community and I'm excited to share some updates with you about our universes as they grow.

Firstly, I want to thank you for being a part of our journey. Over the past few months, Enter The Arcverse has grown tremendously, and we owe that success to our loyal readers and supporters like you.

The whole point of creating the Arclands universe and the blog and everything else we've done was to share it with you, to give it away and see what new things you would make of it. By welcoming others into the world, it really comes alive.

The awesome messages we've had from readers and the friends we've made along the way from our systems like Spellforging have shown us one thing, that creativity is contagious. Role players love making new things and as long as that's so, we'll have a fantastic time creating them for you.

Recently, we've been working hard to expand our content and offerings to better serve our community. We've identified three main areas of development that we're excited to share with you today.

Psion

Psion is our new multiverse system that will be launching in 2024. Psion is a mechanic that can power any kind of game, a core system that can be augmented by GMs when they want to create something new?

• Want to create a Cyberpunk Stranger Things? - No problem, take the core system and add additional mechanics where necessary (there's mechanisms for designing your own add ons).
• Need monster, weapon, vehicle templates for your Psion space opera? Not a worry, we give you the templates for you to add your ideas to.
• Want to connect two universes together? Easily done through the Psion multiverse rules and lore.
• What is a Psion anyway? Glad you asked - the Psions are eight primal sources of power that exist beyond time and space. They influence the outcome of events (and crucial dice rolls) across the multiverse, depending on which is ascendant or descendent.

Along with the core rules, we will be introducing three new Verses to the Psion multiverse:

• The InCapeables - an alternate earth ruled by the totalitarian superhero Atomheart. The InCapeables, heroes without capes (see what we did there), plus normies with rocket launchers and kung fu must band together to free mankind from caped tyranny.
• Deadwyrm - A cyber augmented humanity at the very edge of known space, exists on an icebound mining planet where nameless horrors burrow beneath the earth. Vehicles, guns, bugs, tech, horror and madness await you.
• Grifters - Living parallel to the world of the everyday are the grifters, magic using misfits who fuse spells with tech and whose ancient houses battle for supremacy. Think Gaiman meets Aaronovitch in magical London, Wales and Germany.

Arclands 2.0

In the next few years or so, Arclands will join its brethren in the Psion multiverse (don't worry, we'll continue to create 5e content for the Arcverse as well). Arclands: Fire and Fate will be set in an Arcverse transformed by the coming great nemesis of all things, The Dredger.

The switch over to Psion will give us an opportunity to re-imagine the Arcverse, Spellforging, Raptors and a variety of other things and of course we want your involvement. In 2024 we'll be gathering the whole clan in a livestream (or something similar) so we can get your input into making it the best version of Arclands it can be. By doing this we will once again give Arclands to the community - we want it to belong to you.

I will talk in a separate email about A Fire in the Heart of Knowing and the Arclander Zine, both of which are a key part of our journey together.

Nova City Heroes

This started out as a bit of fun, in fact, I started playing Mutants and Masterminds with my eight year old son (his first ever RPG game, which he said was 'awesome' and 'sick'.

I created, for fun, a standard super hero city called Nova City and wondered 'what would it be like after some kind of Thanos snap type event?' and thus, was Nova City Heroes born.

With another Third Party publisher partner, we'll be publishing NCH content for Mutants and Masterminds in the next few months, so watch this space.

You Guys

We are always looking to hear from amazing people. Writers, play testers, artists, people that can do clever things with code, people who have an exciting RPG idea and don't know where to take it. Yes, you. If you'd like to be involved in some way or have an idea to pitch, send us an email.
