Marvel woke me up

Shalom shalom, my friends! It's been a while!
As I always say, I only write when I have important news, and today I have important news! We're about to go on an adventure!
Marvel's blatant erasure of the iconic Israeli character Sabra in response to attacks on Jews in the U.S. was the last straw for me. It made me realize that traditional publication is not an option. To put it bluntly, both my manuscript and I belong to the wrong nationality. It's depressing, but it's not going to stop me.
After seeing the lack of representation of Israelis in Western media, instead of complaining about it, I've decided to write a fantasy series set in modern Israel. The working title is Seed of Amalek. It's kind of like Stranger Things, but with Jewish mysticism, biblical conspiracies, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and an unlucky Nephila who just can't catch a break.
Why? Because I believe such a book needs to exist, and I believe there's a market for it. Happily, we live in a time when authors no longer depend on biased executives or prejudiced agents to reach their audience. All we need is each other. (Don't worry, I'm not going to start singing "Kumbaya.")
After spending a week researching various venues, I've decided that Substack is the best option for me and you.
First, it's the only platform where the writer has direct access to their audience and doesn't depend on the whims of the algorithm.
Second, it allows everyone to read for free while offering a little extra to paying subscribers (more on that later).
Third, you'll get your weekly portion of the story straight to your email. Simple and convenient, and not at all a reference to the weekly portion of the Torah...
Anyway, in the coming days, we're going on an exodus. We're going to travel from SendFox to the promised land of Substack. You may get some kind of message, or not. I'm not yet sure myself how this works.
That's it. I'm super hyped. I hope you're hyped too.
This is going to be biblical.
