Instagram LogoI ended up staying at a ranch for 2 nights in very remote village called Saty. You could drive to China from here in a couple of hours. They had no internet or home comforts that you are used to in Europe. Nearly 3 days with no internet... It was like a detox and it felt great. Nature was unspoiled by humans and the air was so clean that I didn't even use my asthma inhaler once. It was like going into a time machine to the wild west. There was no showers and had to learn how to clean yourself. Which was quite pleasant as it was a Russian style steam room. Which you had to drench your body with buckets of water. As it was a ranch all the food they served was home made. I saw a child carrying 2 freshly killed dead rabbits, as he was in the supermarket buying groceries for his family. We had around 18 of us in total, which were a mix of Dana's family and friends. We all ate together, shared stories and got pissed at the night. No phones or distractions took place and it felt good. Kazakh hospitality is amazing and they looked after me and never felt out of place. The whole experience cost less than 18€/$20 per night. Which includes room, fresh food served 3 times a day, cleaning of everything and full access to everything. It was a eye opener and I loved every minute of it. It was an experience that I will never forget. I can't wait to do something like this again. #satykazakhstan #wildeast #kazakhstannature #ranchlife #naturelovers #beautifulkazakhstan #backintime #kazakhfamily #explorekazakhstan #eyeopener #travelkazakhstan #kazakhfood #kazakh_life #kazakhtourism
