Northern Nights makes Locus Reading List

Dear Friends,
I hope that you are all keeping well. It's been a long year already. It seemed February would never arrive.
Northern Nights, the all-Canadian anthology of dark fiction has made the Locus Recommended Reading List. And Premee Mohamed's story from the anthology, "The Night Birds," has also made the list. I am very happy for all the contributors. It's these little pockets of joy that keep us going in these strange, dark times.
This book is very dear to me. A labour of much love. Reviews have been fantastic — noting how it evokes a sense of specific place — but sales have not been, alas. So, I have marked the eBook down to $4 on our site. I hope that you will give this unique anthology a try.
I am almost done editing issue 10 of Weird Horror magazine. I am very, very pleased with how it turned out. It will be out in March. You can get a 2-issue subscription or pre-order just issue 10.
Work continues on our Fall release, Thomas Ha's "Uncertain Sons and Other Stories." You're in for a great read. I'll likely have pre-orders up in March. I am so excited for this one, truly.
I am waiting to see how proposed new tariffs from the U.S. "government" will affect our business. I'm almost positive I will be adversely impacted.
I truly appreciate that you are still here with us. There is a lot of incredible work being published. Much of it from indie presses. And we need independent voices more than ever.
I hope you can all find comfort and some joy in the days ahead.
Thank you!
Warm Wishes,
Michael (and the Undertow team)
