EBOOK SALE!

The last bit of news is that I am accepting submissions for volume 2 of "The Best Weird Fiction of the Year," publishing this November. Submissions close on Feb. 28. I expect a large number of submissions. The last call received 2200 subs, I'm already at 1500 for this call. Please adhere to the guidelines. A number of submissions haven't. Specifically:

—stories must have been FIRST published in English in 2025

—stories under or over the word count will be discarded

—do not send more than 3 stories

—do not email your story

—you will only receive a response if I select your story. Do not query about its status

I don't mean to be pedantic about it, but it's very frustrating when submitters clearly haven't read the guidelines. I look at every submission. I read fast—I only need a bite or two of the apple to know if it's to my taste—and I want you to have an opportunity to submit successfully.

You can find the guidelines and submission form below. Thank you. Happy submitting.
