Presenting options and guidelines for presentation preparation

Sep 16, 2025 8:01 am

Dear AI-SMART 2025 participants,

As you all know, the AI-SMART 2025 conference scheduled for next week (September 25-26, 2025) will be held in a hybrid format (virtually, online via Zoom, and in-person).

Presentation of submitted research is NOT obligatory, and it is NOT a precondition for abstract/paper publication later on.

Nonetheless, there are three presentation options for interested authors.

1. On-spot presentation at the Institute of Economic Sciences on September 25, 2025 (Belgrade, Serbia) – each presenter will have 7 minutes for presentation and 1 minute for Q&A.

Authors exceeding the 7-minute mark will be alerted and allowed an additional 1 minute to conclude their presentation.

Authors who opt to present in person should send us their presentations no later than Sunday (September 21, 2025) at 9:00 p.m. CEST by replying to this email.

2. Online (live presentation) over Zoom. Participants who would like to join us via an online (live) presentation will be able to present their papers live. Each presenter will have 7 minutes for the presentation and 1 minute for Q&A.

Authors exceeding the 7-minute mark will be alerted and allowed an additional 1 minute to conclude their presentation.

Authors who opt for online presentations over Zoom will share their own presentations over the platform (there is no need to send presentations to conference organizers).

3. Virtual presentation: Participants may submit a prepared presentation in advance in MP4 format (with or without video) for a maximum duration of 7 minutes. Please note that the usage of AI voice or video in preparation for the presentation is not allowed.

These presentations have to be uploaded to Vimeo (https://vimeo.com/) and the embed code (upper right corner of video preview – copy embed code) should be copied to a New Word Document and delivered as an attachment to the conference organizers over email - udekom@gmail.com no later than Sunday (September 21, 2025) at 9:00 p.m. CEST.

Virtual presentations will be listed in the conference agenda and posted on the conference website, accessible for preview on the conference days and the following 7 days. Authors opting for this presentation opportunity will also receive certificates of presentation.

Each presentation should be engaging and informative on no more than 10 slides. It must clearly state the purpose or rationale behind the author's work, including the research hypotheses or questions and the methodology used to address the research question or confirm/reject the given hypotheses. The author should conclude by explaining how the findings can be applied both in scientific research and practical contexts. The last slide should contain the contact details of the corresponding author. Authors are free to choose the presentation design.

Please ensure that your presentation adheres to these guidelines.

Tomorrow you will receive an additional email with our 3-question form, where you should confirm your participation/presentation on the conference day. If we do not receive your final confirmation for the presentation, it will be excluded from the conference agenda.

The conference agenda will be available by Saturday afternoon, September 20, 2025.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us.

We look forward to your participation in the AI-SMART 2025 conference.

Kind regards,

Nikolina Vrcelj
