High Commission from Tours and Activities

Hi


At a recent ATAS conference, I spoke about selling Tours and Activity holidays. Astonishingly, when I did the Maths, 90% of attendees didn't have a website that told any potential customer they sold these types of holidays.


What would I guess was the % of agents not actively marketing these types of holidays? Probably a lot more!


When the potential commission on ATAS bookings is £900++ it seems a huge wasted opportunity. But when I spoke with agents it was because they had no easy way of promoting these touring holidays.


So I put on my thinking cap ...


.. & integrated a Tours and Activities feed of products from ATAS and other operators via Tourhound into every website we manage and integrated it into TMS Marketing Manager.

Some food for thought over the weekend ... are you actively selling tours and activities? Does your website work hard enough at letting new potential customers know about Tours and Activity holidays?


... and if you have a shop window, or advertise in papers, can you easily create a poster or advert with a QR code to a landing page on your website about Tours and Activities?
