A client said something to me this week that first, made my day, and second, was such a clear way of capturing the core of coaching that I had to share.

She said: When I work with you, I'm learning what I DO do, rather than what I'm supposed to do.

She went on to explain that what we do together is REFINE her ideas, her ways of doing things, her way of serving people so that they are truly hers.

It's about her finding out what it means to DO her things HER way.

And all of this is the truest thing about coaching for me, and really, the ultimate goal.

It's my hope that everyone I connect with and help in ANY way - in coaching, here in email, on the socials, all the places - walks away feeling like they are closer to doing what they DO do, vs. what they should.

It's my hope that even if you're not getting this from me (but boy I hope you are, because otherwise, what are we both doing here?!), you're getting it from someone, somewhere because we all deserve this - yes, also you.

May today be a day you feel permission to be even just 1% more you. May today be a day where you DO what YOU do, rather than what everyone else does.
