5 (or so!) useful things for today

Here are 5 things I think might be useful for you right now:


1. Ask yourself: what would make it FUN?


Yes, sometimes the answer feels like 'yuck, boo, NOTHING' but that's never *actually* the answer.


If you're banging into something heavy and boring, what would make it fun? (and by fun I mean fun for YOU - because if it's fun for you, everyone else will enjoy it too, that's just the way this all works).


2. Join us tomorrow in the FB group at 11:30 am EST live for How to Stop Avoiding Selling.


You're not a bad person if you're avoiding selling, and I'm not going to tell you that you are - not today, not in the workshop, not ever. Instead, I'll help you understand exactly WHY you're avoiding selling and then make some simple shifts that will help you avoid it less.


The less you avoid selling the more people you get to help... that's good for everyone, come join us.


3. This is your friendly PSA of the week to ask for help.


There is something right now that you're having a hard time with - in life, in business, in parenting, where ever - and you're ALLOWED to ask for help.


I did this just yesterday - after many feelings about how needing this specific help might mean I'm failing as a human (first, longer story for another day, and yes, I know I'm not, it's all good, and yes, sometimes we all still feel like this) - and today I have been repeatedly reminded by the people HELPFULLY responding that I have resources and that asking for help always goes better than going it alone. Period.


Look around at what you are doing - where do you need help? Who will you ask to help you?


Yes, you deserve the help too.


4. The most recent episode of the UNcomplicating Business Podcast is about ASSUMPTIONS we make that make sales harder. I don't always get a ton of direct feedback on episodes but I've gotten quite a bit here about how helpful it's been to people - it's worth the time.

5. Small group coaching has had a change in schedule.


By popular demand, we're going to start groups the week of 11/6 (or so - the consensus was early November) --- so if you were thinking of jumping into group coaching and didn't because of timing, it's time to reconsider.


Group coaching is the very best blend of both individual AND group coaching you're going to find - get what YOU need AND grow by learning with and through other people.

5.5. Growing a business is SIMPLER when you are grounded in your own expertise.


Take one minute right now and think about someone you have SERVED recently.


Think about what they now have, can do, feel better about because you helped them.


Remember who you are, and why what you do matters.


You are an expert. What you do matters.
