One of the things that I constantly remind myself is that it's my job to talk about the transformations.

It's my job as the business owner (and yours...) to tell the people in my world how working with me (and you...) will help them to change, will help their work to change, and their businesses to change in the way they most need AND want.

It's really easy to talk about the hows and whats. How it works. What we'll do. How it's set up. What steps you take to jump in.

All of that stuff is the safe stuff to talk about because it's clear, simple, easy to explain, and - really - in my control.

But transformation?

Welp. It feels scarier. It feels like promising something to someone that maybe we don't reach, because nothing is really guaranteed, right?

Talking about transformation feels harder because sometimes transformation is intangible, abstract, and sometimes the transformation we get & need is different than the one we thought we wanted and asked for.

Talking about transformation feels harder because everyone's transformation is different, individual, and personal.

Saying 'here's how you, your work, and your business will transform with me' feels like a big stake to put in the ground.

And yet.

It's the possibility of true transformation, of change, that people say YES to.

The possibility of transformation is what drives us to spend money, to make scary decisions, and say yes.

Clients always say to me '...but I can't guarantee the transformation will happen' and that's true.

I can't either.

But here's what I can promise - here's what we can ALL promise.

• I will do every. single. thing. in my power to help you make the transformation that you need (which sometimes ends up being different from the one you want) to get the growth, change, and goals you so deeply want.

• I will not duck discomfort for you. I will not ever not ask the question that needs to be ask, or give the feedback that's required. I'll hold your hand until you have to fly on your own, and I will stand on the cliff's edge and cheer for you, so you hear me (and I'm loud) as you fly higher than you thought possible.

And I will help to build you a community of people who will cheer as you fly, who will hold your hand when it's hard, and kick your ass (with love) when it's needed.

This is coaching, this is GROUP coaching in particular.

In my notebook yesterday, I asked:

What's IS the transformation of group coaching?

And here's what I know they are after 10 rounds of small group coaching:

• Greater control over your time, your processes, and work, and your income
• Consistency and balance (in all kinds of ways... this is where the individual versions of transformation are clearest, every time)
• Increased opportunities
• Increased YESES to whatever you're working on having people say YES to
• A cleaner, simpler business

First, maybe we can't guarantee the transformations because transformation is a two person game.
