Consistency is not created by being mean to yourself about it...

Nov 11, 2021 9:34 pm

Hey there ,

"I just wish I was more CONSISTENT"

"I get started, I do great for a few weeks...and then things get busy, I get distracted, and I have to start all over again."

Sound familiar?

These are words I hear ALL. the. time. from clients, friends, colleagues (ahem...myself...).

If you might maybe have once said them too, here's what I want you to know.

First, you're probably more consistent than you realize (so you can go ahead and stop beating yourself up on this one).

If you aren't sure, go find some evidence - ask yourself: How AM I consistent right now? What am I consistent in today?

Second, if you want to be MORE consistent, the key is to lead with actually deciding what CONSISTENCY means for YOU.

You will only be more consistent if whatever you decide to do actually WORKS for you.

Once you define YOUR version, decide how it will look, feel, and sound for you to be consistent.

Then?

COMMIT to THAT for 90 + days...

The key takeaway is this:

  • Being more consistent doesn't come from 'being better' at it.

  • Being more consistent doesn't come from being mean to yourself about it.

  • Being more consistent comes from being more YOU about it.

You DEFINE what it means to be consistent in your business - no one else.

So go ahead and do that.

And if you need help?
