Yesterday I got a note from a member of my FB group.

She reached out because she is likes what Charting Business Success is about...but she isn't a teacher, wasn't a teacher, and doesn't own her own business (and yes, she's in my FB group :))

She said, 'I think what you're doing in this group would really help me, but I don't know if it's FOR ME. I'm not sure you want ME.'

Before I share how I answered with you, I want to make two notes...

**First, asking a question like this - reaching out to say that she was interested but wasn't sure we'd WANT her - is BRAVE.

It's not easy to ask, especially when the answer could be 'no, you don't fit in'.

She gets a giant gold start for stepping out and ASKING.

**Second, one of the things I know from my time in classrooms is that if one person has a question, then MORE people have the same question.

If she reached out to ask, it means that someone else here on this list has had the same thought.

So let me tell all of you what I told her.

If it feels like a fit, it is a fit.

• It doesn't matter if you are, were, or weren't a teacher.

• It doesn't matter if you own a business.

• It doesn't matter what your role is.

If you want your work to be less complicated, if you want your life to have more joy, and you want to be more confident in what you are doing, where you are doing it, then you should join us.

Charting Business Success will be focused on growth.

And growth is different for everyone - even when people are from the same background and are building similar things, the growth that THEY need is different.

And that's OKAY.

If this is a group, an experience, and work that feels like it's for you then it IS for you.
