How much are you keeping in your head?

Hey hey ,

Imagine you were carrying 3 very full water buckets...everywhere you go.

👉 Sometimes you would spill.

👉 Sometimes you would put them down.

👉 Sometimes you would share the load.

👉 Sometimes you would ask for help.

👉 Sometimes you would carry one at a time.

Three full buckets is a LOT to carry around all the time.

And if we actually had buckets in our hands, we'd all be the first to admit that they're heavy.

Well.

It's more than possible that you ARE carrying these three buckets right now.

Just in a less obvious way - in your head.

What if these 3 buckets are the same as all the ideas, lists, and things that you are carrying around in your head?

The ones you insist you have to keep track of, get done, manage, organize, create, follow, do...

There's a lot, right?

So here's a proposal...

What if we treated all the stuff in our brains the same as the water in the buckets?

What if what was okay for the buckets was ALSO okay for the ideas, the lists, and the things you're carrying around in your head?

That would mean...

👉 Sometimes we'd spill (and miss stuff).

👉 Sometimes we'd write it all down just to rest.

👉 Sometimes we'd talk about it all.

👉 Sometimes we'd ask for help.

👉 Sometimes we'd put things aside.

And it would be TOTALLY OKAY.

Because it IS totally okay.

If they were actual buckets, it would be okay to rest, adjust, shift, or ask for help.

Yet because we carry them in our heads somehow it's different. (the #invisiblelist)

But it's NOT DIFFERENT.

Friend, you don't have to carry all three full buckets (and keep adding liquid) all on your own all the time.

You have options.

So today, try this...

(it's the brain version of putting all three buckets DOWN for a hot minute):

Grab pen and paper.

List out all the stuff you are carrying around in your head.

Don't organize it, don't judge it, don't think hard about it.

Just list it out.

And then walk away.

You don't have to ever look at the list again.

You don't need to DO anything with it.

You can just list it all, and then leave it there.

That's it.

(and yes, that's okay to do - it IS enough)

And remember this:

You get to choose what to do with the buckets of stuff in your brain.

You get to put things down, put things aside, ask for help, allow for help, and let things go.

The power is YOURS.

Warmly,

Sara

PS. If you are constantly overwhelmed by the ideas, lists, and things to do - like you never put down the buckets and you don't even know where to start doing things differently - you don't have to stay like this forever.

It is completely possible for you to NOT be overwhelmed all day every day and reducing overwhelm to ZERO can happen for you in under an hour.

Seriously.

Want to figure out what to do, when, and in which order right now?
