The way to make it all less complicated today

Hey there ,
You can make business - particularly business SUCCESS - less complicated all on your own, right this moment, by doing this ONE thing.
Ready?
Ask yourself: what's in my control right now, and how do I take advantage of/do more of THAT?
That's it.
Really.
And now maybe you're like 'yep, I get it.'
If that's the case, fab, off you go.
And if you're like 'wth is she talking about?!', think about this:
The most complicated part of business and success is the part where we try to control things that are NOT in our control.
For example... when you know you need to write the post/make the video/send the email/make the offer and you DON'T (over and over) because deep down you're worried about what other people will think/do/how they'll respond...
You're STOPPING because you are trying to control for something that is. not. yours. Mainly, other people and their thoughts.
We can't control what other people think of us, how they'll respond, what they'll do any more than we can control the weather.
Logically we KNOW this.
But emotionally? Ugghh.
And so when we *tryyyy* to do the things AND control what other people do it feels like a LOT of work, because 50% of the things we're doing aren't in our control.
This is when things get HARD and COMPLICATED.
Because in order to try to control the things NOT in our control we do all sorts of weird mental contortions, we do things we think we *should* do rather than want to do, we create guilt, and bananas-levels of discomfort and THEN we get frustrated because things are so hard.
Yep. I see you. Crap, I do this tooooo.
Awesome, right?
And the answer to this?
It's simple.
(and, I am the first to acknowledge - WILDLY uncomfortable - BUT, so is what you're doing right now, so really? Why not try this?)
It's to JUST focus on what is IN your control.
It's to focus on what you control, what you KNOW works, and then to do MORE of those things.
It's to actively work on letting go of things that are. not. yours. even when you want more than anything to just make those people do what you know they should damnit.
THIS is how you uncomplicate TODAY.
Focus on YOUR stuff. Learn to manage how you think about, manage, deal with and the energy you devote to things that aren't yours.
That's it.
It's simple - and maybe also not easy. But again, doing things the most complicated way possible and trying to control things that are out of your control (like other people!) is also NOT easy, so, as my dad says 'six of one, half dozen of the other...'
Once again, ask yourself: what's in my control right now, and how do I take advantage of/do more of THAT?
Start THERE.
And if you need help figuring out what's yours, what you have to take advantage of, and how to actually manage NOT stressing about things out of your control?
I've got you.
1. This is what we do in coaching. This is the CRUX of all things in coaching. And you can have SIMPLE, uncomplicated success - I promise. I see it every. day. in my clients. You can join group coaching, we can work 1:1... whatever floats your boat, but if you're really ready to take control, this is the way.
2. Come join my FB group UNcomplicating Business for Teachers, Helpers, and Givers; starting on Monday we're going to spend the next THREE months talking about how to focus on things in OUR control so that success becomes less complicated sooner than later.
And if you need something else?
Want to work differently?

Happy UNCOMPLICATING!!
Warmly,
Sara
PS. A client recently gave some feedback about our work together that felt like a good overview of what working together is like...
"The best part of working with Sara is the blend of structure that she provides, through prompts, through exercises, tools, and dialogue - they have been exceptionally helpful in helping me clarify, work through challenges, build my competence, define my leadership, take more risks.
My coaching calls are the most important interaction I have on a weekly basis, and part of that stems from any environment Sara creates, through listening - she hears things that I don't, right, and comes with experiences of helping other people and being able to tie common themes together that I have no line of sight to.
With Sara it’s not ever a judgmental space - she’ll never say ‘well, you didn't do this. You're a failure.’ She always gently holds me accountable. She pushes me, but in a way that comes from an understanding of who I am, what the best next steps might be for me. It’s a treasure - it’s the best money I spend all year."
This same kind of space - structured, focused, kind, non-judgmental, high-expectation, and personal - is here for you too.
I'm ready when you are :)
