My least favorite and most important coaching this week

Hey there, ,

Sometimes in coaching there is a 'theme of the week' where everyone I work with seems to be running into the same thing.

This week the theme was around one of my least favorite pieces of coaching to give.

And it's this:

Sometimes, it's just not time yet.

  • It's not time to know how the schedule is going to play out.

  • It's not time to know how that potential client is going to end up.

  • It's not time to know if all of the yeses will stick.

  • It's not time to know if the seeds being planted have bloomed.

It's just not time.

And STRESSING out over the answers when it's not time is just... well... stressing.

This is some of my least favorite coaching to give because essentially the answer is to wait. To do nothing. To keep going as you're going. To be PATIENT.

And being patient sucks.

  • We all want things to be figured out now.

  • We want decisions and answers.

  • We want clarity. We want progress.

Me too. I'm the same. I'm impatient as HELL most of the time.

And?

What I know to be true is that we can't decide things that aren't ours to decide. We can't figure out things that aren't ready to be figured out yet. And we can't answer questions that haven't been fully asked.

Can we plan?

Sure. I'm all for planning. And once we plan we can let go.

But you know what we mostly do instead of planning and then letting it go?

We plan. And then plan again. And plan for a variety of eventualities. And plan some more. And plan double. And plan. Until we've made ourselves absolutely bananas with planning for something that isn't even in our control to begin with.

Yes. I see you. I do this, I get it.

So, for you, today?

There is somewhere in your business/life right now where this coaching - it's not time yet - also applies to you.

The question for you is - WHERE?

  • Where are you planning and planning but don't have all the parts yet?

  • Where are you trying to force things to be figured out when it's just not ready?

  • Where could you ALLOW things to work the way they will in the time they need to work?

  • Where could you let the process work itself out, even though doing so is just so damn annoying?

Because really?

Patience creates EASE in business. It allows flow. It creates space.

And impatience brings chaos - and no one wants to invite chaos to the party, y'all.

Check in.

Where is more patience and less force the answer?

Because there's a place it IS the answer, right now, for all of us.

Here's to patience (even under protest! ha!).

Much LOVE,

Sara

PS. And before you just ease back and WAIT for all the things, please know that patience is also NOT disengagement.

Patience is not pausing progress.

Patience is sitting back and hoping.

We can be patient AND actively growing our businesses.

In group coaching, we grow business, we create more money, we make measurable progress AND we don't force things that aren't ready to be ready.

In group coaching we actively create progress WITHOUT the added stress that is impatience.

Come join group coaching. There IS a space for you, you WILL get what you need, AND you'll get MORE. That's the magic of group.

To join, hit reply OR book a time to talk about it here.

We start the week of 9/22 and doors to groups will close 9/13 (if not sooner, when all spots are full!).
