One of my core beliefs about work and the world is that structures + processes create simplicity.

I know this as a teacher - I saw day in and day out how it was easier for kids to learn and grow structure of the assignment, the classroom, the schedule was clear.

I know this as a mom - I see in my kids today that having structures for time and stuff helps them do the things that matter more simply, more easily.

I know this as a coach - every day I help clients build and adjust structures and processes in their businesses that then make their work simpler, more effective, more efficient.

I know that a LOT of the time when things feel hard, complicated, or overwhelming it's because we're missing a structure, or the structure we have isn't actually helping.

(and yes, it's two different questions because the answers might be different...)
