Hey there ,

First, happy Friday to you :) Getting to the end of another busy week is something to celebrate!

Second, I wanted to share this crazy thing I realized this week.

I was sitting on Monday morning this week, doing my morning journaling work (which sounds much MUCH fancier than it actually is), and had this wild thought: Journaling makes me money.

And my first reaction was 'nahhhhh. That's not right. There's no relationship here.'

But. I was curious. Because... what if??

So I wandered into my office, checked my journals against income (mostly matching up periods I journal regularly with periods I don't because it's definitely a habit I come in and out of) and lo and behold... I DO make more money when I am journaling regularly.

What. the. what.

Now listen - the data-math-teacher person in me knows that this is not 'real' data... this isn't 'official' data... but it's official enough for me.

And my first reaction was (truly) 'Aw crap. Now I have to actually KEEP this habit' (which should say a lot about my feelings about journaling in general, ha!).

But really?

As I have thought about it this week?

This relationship - journaling = money -- makes a LOT of sense. It does.

There IS method to the madness.

And as I've been talking to people about this connection between journaling and money (for me) this week, they're next question, ever. single. time, was 'so tell me more about what you actually DO when you journal?'

SOOooooo.

Next week I'm going to hold a free live workshop in my FB group, UNcomplicating Business for Teachers, Helpers, and Givers.

I'm calling it Journaling for Results (mostly because I chickened out on calling it Journaling for Money... it sounded too much like Dialing for Dollars??! Idk).

I'm going to share WHY I think this relationship between journaling and money is the real. deal, and then I'm going to share exactly what I do.

Then?

I'm going to help you make it yours.

Because really?

Effectively journaling to create results (money, people to help, time, all the things) isn't about doing it MY way - it's about taking what's good for you from my way, and making it YOURS.

So we're going to do that.
