When the only choices are disappointed or disappointed

Hey there ,
Today I was disappointed.
Something didn't work out as I had hoped, and it stung. Like, a lot. Enough to bring tears.
Being disappointed doesn't feel good.
It's not something I WANT to feel a lot. I'm sure you can relate.
And also?
Disappointment is not something that I can (or WANT to) avoid.
Because, really, there are two choices.
As a business owner, as a mom, as a human, I can:
A. Take a risk and potentially feel (very, deeply) disappointed when it doesn't work out.
B. Not take a risk and feel disappointed because it didn't work out.
In option B, the only possible result is disappointment.
It's a (mostly) lower-grade, gentler, easier to talk ourselves out of, easier to co-exist with kind of disappointment - but it's still disappointment. And it's LONG-TERM.
In option A, disappointment isn't the only possible outcome (things can and will work out, even if it's just part of the time).
When things don't work out, the disappointment we feel is acute, raw, loud, heavy, and big. But it's SHORT-TERM. Because we get to learn from it and move forward.
Would you rather be disappointed big today because you took the risk, or disappointed less acutely forever because you didn't?
I know which one I am choosing.
Even though feeling big disappointment today wasn't fun, I know that I took the risk, and that's a win.
What about you?
Which version of disappointment are you feeling today? And which one do you WANT to choose moving forward?
Warmly,
Sara
PS. Choosing coaching IS a risk. Even choosing to talk with me about coaching IS a risk.
You *might* be disappointed by the results...
...but, actually, it's pretty unlikely.
My job as a coach is to help you get exactly what you need from coaching and then some.
My job is to help you turn taking the risk of working together into your dream business.
I KNOW that I will show up and give you all that I have.
I KNOW that this will create results in your business and the change you want in you.
It's more than possible.
And it's here for you.
All you have to do is say yes.
If you're ready, book a time to talk here, or hit reply and say 'I'm ready to take the risk'.
