The best suggestion I give all the time

Hey there, ,
Yesterday I was talking to someone new.
And in the course of the conversation I made a suggestion to her that I make to people all the time.
It's the best, most impactful, most useful suggestion that I give.
Ready?
Just start talking about it.
And if you're *already* talking about it, talk about it MORE.
That's it.
Yesterday my new friend was thinking about a new offer. And she was telling me all the time she was going to spend planning and creating and thinking and perfecting (she didn't use that word, but also, that's what it was, really...).
And I love all of that. I love having a plan. I love creating and thinking.
But also?
EVERYTHING works better - the planning, the creating, the thinking - when you're doing those thinking WHILE you're doing whatever it is you're offering.
I know that it SEEMS like you have to plan BEFORE you offer.
And also?
You don't. Because you aren't offering that you know nothing about.
You already KNOW your stuff. Which means you can just START TALKING ABOUT IT.
And yeah, I get it, this can be a hard suggestion to follow because in runs contrary to so much of how we are taught to have all of our ducks lined up BEFORE we start.
Friends. The ducks are never going to line up. They are ducks. They don't listen. It's never going to be perfect.
Which means you can and should just start.
This suggestion - to just start talking about it (more) - is the suggestion I make that makes people the most money.
Because y'all - people can't buy what you aren't talking about and they want what you have, so when you actually START talking about it and stand in your expertise and amazingness, the people BUY.
The TL;DR version?
Stop planning. Start talking.
You'll have the plan when you need it -- I promise.
Until then, go tell the people what you have to offer.
