The best part about a group is the group

Dear ,
Toward the end of 2020 I joined a high-ticket, high-powered group coaching program.
A few weeks ago in my FB group I wrote about one of the things I hated about it. I've gotten a lot (lot) of feedback about that post - in the comments, yes, but also via messenger, email, conversations... if you didn't see it you can find it here.
Today I want to share the other side of the coin.
Specifically, what I LOVED most about that program.
If you know me a little it's probably NOT going to come as a shock to you - but what I loved loved loved about group coaching, and that group in particular, were the PEOPLE.
In the particularly program I joined, there were 30 people and 1 coach.
Each week the coach would work live with a handful of the 30 people.
And every week - by listening to them get coached - I got to know a handful of thoughtful, smart, focused, powerful women just a little better.
Because I knew that knowing them just by listening wasn't going to be enough for me and my nosy self, during the six month program I made sure to do my best to meet every single one of them 1:1 (I only missed 2!) - I KNEW that I would learn more in the group as a result.
And I did.
What I didn't imagine then though, was that I would still be learning from them today all. the. time.
Today, a full 18 months later, the best part of that group coaching experience is STILL the people.
They are in my feed, in my work, in my world. They are friend, colleagues, supporters, and sources of endless inspiration.
Some are nearby, some are literally on the other side of the world.
And the vast majority are people I would never have crossed paths with in any meaningful way if not for the group.
Yes, I learned a ton from the coach and from her program - things I wanted, needed, changed, and also things I looked at and thought 'nope, not for me, no way I'll do it like that' - the program was worth the investment for that alone.
But when I signed up I had NO IDEA how much more I would get from the PEOPLE.
The people have been the HUGE, monumental bonus I didn’t see coming.
And this?
This is the magic of group coaching.
This is part of why I LOVE running groups of my own - they are, partly because of my group coaching experience - smaller, more intimate, more focused, more accessible, but they are also still groups.
Because people in groups are POWERFUL.
There is magic that comes from groups that can't be recreated in any other way - there is good, and learning, and potential that can't be anticipated, but also ALWAYS comes.
Yes, the individual coaching that comes from group coaching is great - the individual work and growth is hugely important - but also, the bonus potential that is created from the relationships, from collaboration, from learning together is LIMITLESS.
This is one of the biggest WHYS of group coaching, at least for me - and maybe for you.
Friend.
Come join my group coaching program for the fall.
Come for the coaching, come for you and your business, come to grow and get what you need as an individual business owner, and also come to get SO MUCH MORE.
And listen, I know we have all had group learning experience in our lives that were NOT worth the time, the money, the angst, the tedium... I get it.
I promise that this thing, this group coaching - this is not that. At all. In any way.
This is the version of group where you are served AND you serve others, simply through the act of being you and showing up to get what you need.
It's going to be AMAZING.
And you should join us.
When you are ready to talk about joining group coaching this fall (sooner than later!) send a message, hit reply, book a call here, send carrier pigeon, whatever - and we’ll set up a time.
We start the week of 10/10/22, and it will be worth your time and THEN some.
Warmly,
Sara
