For the fist time in my life, I learnt what it meant to do a proper introduction of yourself to people. 

And it wasn't that I didn't know what the word INTRODUCTION means or I haven't heard it before. 

But, I got to understand what it means to have YOURSELF PROPERLY INTRODUCED to people.

“What do y'all understand by Introduction?”, 5 different people gave their meanings and I gave mine as well. 

And he said, “You all have defined well, but let me show you what it means to introduce yourself to people, so that they don't forget you easily.”

Then he showed us how it is done and asked us to write our introduction as well.

After that session, I compared my former introduction… 

“My name is Olatunji Jesutofunmi. I'm a student of FUTA, I love writing and Chocolates. I'm a believer.”

To the new one…

“I'm The Jesutofunmi Olatunji. I belong to a community of dangerously influential people. I'm A Believer of Christ and His Word. I have a sweet tooth (I loveeeee Chocolates)

Which do you think people will be much more inclined to reply to? 

The second? Exactly. 

When I realized that, I knew I've been introducing myself the wrong way for a while, so getting to know what I know now is a real eye opener and a blessing too. 

Maybe you are in my former shoes too. Who knows? 

You could have gotten that customer, that client, that job, that girl, but because of your INTRODUCTION that was not properly done, you've missed it. 

Your introduction have a lasting effect on people. And you can use this introduction In any area of your life. Especially for your business.
