Welcome to the July 16th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week
Time to dream bigger.
We are at the midpoint of July. The first month in the second half of the year.
A couple of things happened to me during the week.
First, I got a bigger vision that I believe came from God for the second half of 2023.
Second, I was part of a meeting that aligned with my sense of vision with a big puzzle that I am always putting together - collaboration.
The balance of both is that I am looking for ways to live out my big vision through collaborative efforts.
The vision I’m living out is too big for me. I must bring others to share it with me.
The impact we will create will cause a multiplier.
This is the future to live for.
Something bigger than myself.
Things I Learnt
1-Boldly go with the Small: A few weeks ago, a thought came to me to reach out to two people who were well ahead of me in an area that I am building a practice around.
I couldn’t shake the thought so I reached out to them.
I sent a message to them introducing myself, told them what wanted to do, the steps I was taking to get mentorship in it and what I wanted to discuss with them.
I told them I would willing to pay for their time.
Both of them accepted. They didn’t even ask for payment for the value of their time.
Fast forward to last week, one of them reached out and asked if I would speak at a weekly session of a collective he leads.
Does a duck swim?
Of course, I said “Yes”.
It was an opportunity to present the way I see the transformation for people in a particular area of life to a unique audience.
And I was happy to see the feedback from the audience.
It all started with taking the bold step to reach out to these two forerunners.
Be bold
Take your first step.
2-When God Reminds Me with Little Things: During the week, I got a word from God about one of the businesses I am leading.
The situation doesn't align with it now.
So God decided to remind me of His faithfulness to keep His Word.
A few weeks back, the earring of one of the kids had fallen off.
There were two problems - we didn't know where it had fallen off and it was a pretty small ring.
But when it happened, I heard God tell me "You will find the earring."
Weeks later, as the cleaning later was doing her business, she found it.
And this is a place she cleans every day.
The kicker was that she found it on the exact day that God gave me a word for the business.
Talk about God setting things up to give encouragement at the right moment.
It reaffirmed my confidence to believe, fight for the word and show every day to put in better than my best to achieve the business goals I want.
I am capable of MORE.
God reminded me.
And He encouraged me.
Postscript
May you find Godly encouragement to hold on and pursue your most challenging goals. Amen.
