Howdy ,
One of my colleagues once asked me "how do you respond happily to everything thrown at us?"
You see we were having one of these difficult seasons.
Doing and redoing the same thing over and over again, spending long hours to make sure we got it right.
When she asked me that question, we had just gotten the latest feedback on what we submitted.
"You need to do more"
I smiled and said, "I love this job."
She didn't find it funny.
We all like a perfect day.
A day when results meet the efforts we put in. And actions are rewarded with the right recognition.
Don't hope for a perfect day.
Show up every day with a perfect mindset.
What is the perfect mindset?
It's founded on this
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28
There are no good or bad situations - just situations working for God's glory.
God's glory in us means we become better at serving others and enter more positions of responsibility.
When unhappy events happen, ask yourself "who does God want to make me into so I can thrive in this situation?"
Who you become is a bigger item on God's agenda.
It's not a perfect day that you need.
It's the perfect mindset.
Daniel became known as the interpreter of dreams on the day that the king decided to kill all wise men because the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and astrologers could not tell and interpret his dreams.
Daniel did not complain "why is this happening, it wasn't me that didn't interpret the dream."
He became something more to thrive.
You can do that.
This is how you make every day A Perfect Day.
As always
Keep Multiplying what you have been given by God in life.
