Hello Happy Readers!
A first. Yes, I'm baffled. I'm not one who cries. I shove the tears deep down and bite my teeth together and the worst case, 'walk it off'. Even less likely is that I cry reading something fictional or from watching a film. I still feel very sad in certain moments, but I don't let tears fall. Today I was close. Close! I was writing a chapter in the sequel to Legacy of Lies & Wings, and yes, someone dies, someone I really care for... author to character speaking... and I had to pause my writing to make a cup of coffee. That's how distraught I felt. Had I given it another moment, I'd have cried. From my own imaginative writing! Crazy right? I made it up. I killed the character. I plotted everything. I guess this is a heads up - if you read the sequel, be warned that it could be healthy to take a break once in a while to breathe.
I'll carry on now and see how Angelica can live with this...
