Hello Happy Readers!
I hope you are all keeping safe after the 4th of July Independence Day celebrations yesterday.
My update for this week is that I'm carrying on with writing book 2 of the Villainous Wings series whilst waiting for book 1 to be edited. I have taken a two day pause because I must get into the mood of writing my next scene, and you might not like it but a beloved character is about to die. Sitting at my own mother's death bed three years ago, I think I might just pull it off to portray all the sorrow Angelica might be feeling. But yes, woooofff, I need to draw on some more strength to start writing it.
In my reading updates:
Last week I finished Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig and the series was gothic and dark and well written. But you know me! I want more romance. I want that dying love and fates romance that brings lovers together, where they can't stay away from each other. I want the banter and the dancing around each other until they can't take it anymore and just go for it. Like Xaden Riorson.
I have just finished reading Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas, and wow, now the story is really picking up and becoming one of my favourite series of all time.
Yesterday, I finished Empire of Flames and Throne by Marion Blackwood.
All these books will have their book reviews on my YouTube channel shortly. (As soon as I can get some quiet in my house so the children don't scream in the background).
