In celebration of book 2 in the Ciphercraft hitting Audible, I've made both Ciphercraft books 99 cents this week.

Cipher's Quest (Ciphercraft 1) is like Tomb Raider meets Predator with a Hard SF twist as a bounty hunter and team of telepaths seeks the clues to unlock the game system that rules the universe.

Windwalker (Ciphercraft 2) plays up the party battle system like a Final Fantasy III remake with hints of Age of Empires to come as they embark on the quest to unlock the rune and resurrect an ancient city.

Windwalker

Publisher's Summary

The race for Resurrection City begins with an earthquake, a rare class, and a portal to the Spirit Realm.

In the aftermath of waking the game system known as the Cipher, the newly minted council of 11 must learn to wage war with new skills in a world that’s been cut in half.

It's a race against time...and new enemies to fulfill prophecy and activate the first Rune they need to survive. The alien Osuna are coming, and scripture says that only the Runelords will stand a chance when they arrive.

Can Cullen's party find the Spirit Realm’s buried city that houses the dangerous and necessary Rune? And what sort of terrible fate awaits the unprepared?

Publishing news:

Since we spoke last, I signed a book deal on my series that starts with Dreadlord Wizard! Aethon Books has been my favorite publisher since I discovered them a few years ago, and it's an honor to team up. Dreadlord Wizard is funnier and more straight to LitRPG than Ciphercraft was. It's my cross between Raistlin's early years and Minecraft, but instead of a gloomy wizard, he's a dork. So it's funny. I think. I wrote it while on pain meds and home from work recovering from back surgery, so I needed something light. Being cut open will do that to you, I guess :).

I'm also planning to wrap it up in three books, but as I write book two, it feels like it could be fun to make it longer. The compromise may be an ending to book three that feels like the end, but maybe it isn't. Then if sales are good enough, I could keep going. It's rare to see books earn out after three books, but I'm going to try as hard as I can to make mine worth it.

While I wait on Aethon's edits, I'm writing book 2 and waiting on my new editor to finish Ciphercraft Book 3: Resurrection City. Want to see a peek at the cover in progress? I'm hoping it releases next month.image

I hear kids' feet. Time to go. If you've read any of my books, please leave a review! Thank you for your support!
