Let’s check out B-Ro’s awesome artwork. If you remember the koala like creature we meet in “Apocalypse Archer,” we get to meet another mookoe in Portal Wars. My son named that race because we beat Final Fantasy 6 for his first time while I wrote PW. He and I love Mog the most, and I wanted more of that in this last book.

Wow. I’m so blessed to have that cover on my book. This series. I tell ya. Rewritten four times, spanning probably ten or more years since I wrote the first draft of Cipher’s Quest. Earned a USA Today and WSJ Best Seller tag for its inclusion in the Dominion Rising box set. I thought, man this is my ticket. A lot of hard roads have been traveled since then. I expect you’ll see some of that in the emotion of this series and the final book, especially.

I don’t know if I’ll have another Tim Kaiver release, but I’ll keep this newsletter updated on my future works. Theo Hodges has three unpublished books, with Dreadwar releasing 9/13.

I’m nearly done with a new book about an aura ranger and his treasure hunting brother turned wood sorcerer in a Narcos Sword and Sorcery litRPG. That will release as written by Theo Hodges, most likely.

I may start back on my Dune Australia scifi novel. That could be a Tim Kaiver release, or I may make it all Theo. At this point, we’ll see. Would you like to read some straight sci-fi adventure?

This summer and how my back surgeries have nearly crippled me has really affected my writing time. I just can’t do as much, and really I’m glad to still be able to work my day job. I visit the surgeon next week to get imaging and next steps, praying all the way.
