Just a quick email to wish you an adventurous new year ahead of you. I've included below my most pleasing Christmasy photo taken of our cat Izzi, and one I have taken just now too (she's still behind me on my special bookshelf).

This week I'm in the process of coming off all social media platforms. I leave that world (perhaps for good) on Monday. My sole point of communication from now on (not counting emails, calls, meeting up etc) will be this mailing list, and my website. Seeing as you are already here, you won't miss a thing.

This week I've made great process on my thriller 2024. The book version, final checks done, has gone to my editor. The screenplay I read aloud again yesterday, making sure the tweaks and changes I made when writing the book have been carried across. It's now ready to start getting out there.

Salva, my first screenplay, I'm waiting to hear back from this month from a London-based competition to see if it'll get any placement. I'll keep you posted and be sure to let you know the result when I have it.
