Facebook LIVE—Cover Reveal

The first piece of extra news this week is that I'm going to do something for the first time––a cover reveal during a Facebook LIVE broadcast happening this Wednesday. I've even already scheduled the event, so that you can join it and let Facebook remind you when it's happening! Here is the link:

Upcoming FREE books for you all

One of the promises I made when you joined this list was that you would always be the first to hear my latest news (which you are) plus that, from time to time, you would get exclusive access to free material, and I don't just mean the free promo run for Cherry Picking that happened two weeks ago.

I'm talking about four (4!) upcoming remastered books that I'm gifting EVERYONE on this list as a thank you! So stick around for these.

What do I mean?

Perhaps three years ago, I ventured to write a series under a pen-name to test several things, as well as playing with the rapid release model. However, because everything now revolves around marketing, these books are invisible. I've also been building (and marketing) my brand around my actual name. So when readers like one of my books, Amazon helps them to discover other ones by the same author. They do not recommend a pen-name, even if it is by me. Also, the series ventured a little off my (then) usual style, so I was happy to test it that way.

Now that needs to change. In the latest update to my thrillers under Tim Heath, I've pulled all reference to these four books and do not mention them in the back anymore. The main reason for this is because I'm currently in the process of reading through them, adjusting them and preparing to relaunch them under Tim Heath, like all my novels.

Even for those who have read the old ones (there aren't many of you, I'm sure) the new series will be different. Originally planned to be six books (only four were written) I will bring in an extra voice, a new character which will tell the story of what will be (the extra two books) without needing to write them. I will also bring the series more inline with my thrillers (perhaps even with a dystopian edge, you never know?) and create brilliant new covers which will better serve the books.

I'm currently working through the second book now––what strikes me is the reminder that this is a GREAT series with such a clever twist and plot wrapped into things even from the first book, stuff that takes on a new life when you get to the final couple of books. It is clever and it is me on a page, so I will do my best to have these available this year. They still need a lot of work and I've not even started on this new voice, this extra character, which I will do once I've read and edited the four books as they are. I'm toning down some of the action as it is perhaps too extreme for my existing audience.

What this means for you is that, when these are ready (I will probably rapidly release them when they do launch) I want to gift them all to you as part of the pre-release process, asking you to read them (checking for any errors that might have crept in, but really these should be few) and then to review the books when they go live to the general public.

Expect this at some point this year (no dates set yet, but watch this space). If you are on this list, you will definitely get the links to download each book when they are ready, so fear not.
