In 2021, I sent out what was my 7th stand-alone thriller and for the first time, it got somewhat stuck in the production process.

Two years on, I've had a completely new look at Postcards From Pianjin Province, taking on the expert advice of Fraser D (from this very team!) and rehashed what I hope will now be a winning novel! Thank you Fraser for your thoughts!

So, I realise that two of you (Fraser and Zan-Mari) have read some of this book before, but you haven't read this version, and I hope you'll find it far more gripping and page turning.

For the rest, you have a fresh, unique work to enjoy, and I do hope that you will.

I do get asked about reviews. Only when the books go live on Amazon can reviews be posted, and I know that you are reading the books long before that happens, so it can make it hard remembering about the book. Can I suggest that you write your comments somewhere and save them, so that when I do email to tell you that the books are live, you don't have to wrack your brains for what you thought, just copy and paste from your notes.

That said, I would imagine Salva and Blackout will both be published over the next few months, with this latest book probably around late summer/early autumn.
