Four New Books to Enjoy!
Jul 05, 2023 8:36 am
Dear wonderful team!
A lot has happened to me this summer (and this year). I recently talked about my need to take a job (which starts next month) in this web post, as I marked 11 years as an author. I'm looking forward to it.
That said, I'm not finished with publishing the books currently in the pipeline (beyond that, I'll be honest, I don't know). I currently have my final two books with my editor, and the aim is to release the first of these at New Year (it's titled 2024, so bringing it out on the 1st January 2024 would seem fitting!). Therefore you should be receiving these books (the second is a sequel) in the autumn, assuming they pass the first hurdle.
That leaves four other books, which are the subject of today's email.
As some of you might remember, two/three years ago I released four books under the pen-name T H Paul (about Penny Black and Jack Ferguson). I did that because the original books (which were meant to be six in total) were more fantasy than thriller, though books 3 & 4 became more psychological thriller in the end.
Then I wrote The 26th Protocol and everyone went crazy over my venture into the dystopian genre!
Sitting as titles under the non-advertised T H Paul (with no other books, no website etc), these books soon became invisible (like so much on the internet now, sadly).
For a while, I've intended to bring them into my name, released under Tim Heath, and fitting my style and genre. And I've now done that! Even if you read the originals, these are different.
First, they've been pulled into the dystopian genre from fantasy. Second, I've added a new voice into the narrative, which spans all four books. This character, as well as adding another layer of mystery, also tells the story of what would have happened in books 5&6 (had I written them), which now don't need to be made.
For a while, I've stated that Jack's character, in particular, I see as one of my greatest fictional creations. I think his arch, which we see across books 1-4 (with books 3&4 giving his own perspective) is the most clever story I've told across all 28 books.
If you've not read the originals, then you can come at these with brand new eyes, and I hope and trust that you would love them! Even if you did read the old stuff, it's been a while, plus these are different now. I would love to know what you all think!
Here are the dates/details, with the links for each book underneath. I know I'm sending four books at once, but there is lots of time, and once you are into the series, you'll probably be desperate to know what happens next.
Sending Date: Today
Deadline For Corrections: Sunday 22nd October 2024
Provisional Publication/Launch Date: Friday 27th October
This is the date reviews can be submitted online.
Please keep track of your thoughts/comments as you go through the series so that you are ready come release. So far, for the three books released in June, there have been very few reviews, and these books go to around 12 people at this stage. Thank you so much for you help! Thanks also to those of you who have reviewed every single book of mine and who give me such great feedback each time! You know who you are!!
Do read the books in order (it'll be far more fun and dramatic that way!)

Fantastic!
You've got nearly 4 months to read them all (this week, I speed-listened to them all in a couple of days) so you have plenty of time to devour and enjoy!
Have a great summer!
